Choose the Scent of your Toiletries c/o Pamper Me Line |
It was a random weekend when we decided to have an overnight bed and breakfast stay in Tagaytay. With all the sprawling B and Bs in Tagaytay right now and since I just dropped by to inquire for a stay, I decided to share my experience in one of the older fave Bed and Breakfasts establishments - The Boutique.
Hot Choco & Chunky Monkey for Midnight Nibbles |
It was one of the long weekends late year when we booked. The only room available was "I escape".
There were seven rooms at the time of our visit. But, now there are more rooms being constructed to accommodate more guests.
The room was quaint and cozy. It has an LCD, speakers, and DVD player and the usual shower facilities. The room was a bit small though. But, I was still happy since we were able to pick the scent of our own toiletries and were asked to choose among their selection found in their DVD library.
I love the king sized bed with huge and huggable pillows and soft warm comforters with white percale. There is a zebra-printed seat in the room and a table with all the fun trinkets such as a magic ball and decors with love quotes.
Our Chosen Breakfast |
The reason why we would like to come back is the extra things that made us smile. One is the midnight snack we nibbled along with the delicious hot chocolate served. We also received a very relaxing facial massage. The breakfast served was also hefty and tasty! At the end of our stay, we were also given a small token as one of the Boutique's way of showing personal touch in their service.
Everything is personalized |
Currently price rates for the rooms are from 5,600 php to 8,600 php during weekdays and 7,000 php to 11,000 php on weekends.
Travel Thoughts:
- There is a housed restaurant in the boutique - the famous Hawaiian BBQ.
- The "Pamper Me Line" products given such as the personally-selected toiletries are available for purchase. Ask the receptionist about it.
- Some of the other rooms are named: I Lust. I Dare. I Love. I Dream, and I Surrender. Some rooms have a jacuzzi overlooking Taal :)
